Ramsons – (Allium ursinum)
Here is a video on how to identify Ramsons (Allium ursinum).
Ramsons are a wonderfully tasty spring plant which tastes of garlic. It is found in moist shady woodland areas and is relatively easy to identify due to its ‘garlicy’ smell. The leaves are a grey-green colour, oval and narrow and grow around the base of the stem.
